Essential to obtaining a mortgage
    
Get pre-approval with a lender, do a full review of your income, assets and credit. Be prepared to offer all personal financial information to earn your pre-approval. In general you'll need to assemble the following personal information for your lender.
    
• Pay stubs from the past 30 days showing your year to date income
    
• Two years of federal tax returns
    
• Two years of W2’s forms from your employer
    
• 60 days or a quarterly statement of all your assets, account, including your checking and savings, as well as any investment accounts such as IRA's, CD's and other stock's and bond's
    
• All current real estate holdings
    
• Rental history for the past two years, including your landlord's contact information.
